**Job Description: Desktop Support Technician**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide **first-level technical support** for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Handle **hardware-related issues**, including replacements and upgrades.
- Assist with **network connectivity issues** such as Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN connections.
- Manage **user accounts** in Active Directory, Office 365, and other internal systems.
- **Monitor and resolve tickets** in the IT support system within SLA timelines.
- Provide **remote support** for off-site users.
- Assist in **maintaining IT inventory** and keeping records of hardware and software assets.
- Ensure **data security and compliance** with IT policies.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to support company-wide IT initiatives.
- Provide **end-user training** on IT best practices and new tools as required.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Hardware Networking/ CCNA or relevant
- Proven experience as a **Desktop Support Technician** or similar role
- Strong knowledge of **Windows and macOS operating systems**:

- Proficiency in **Microsoft Office 365** and **Active Directory** management
- Familiarity with **remote support tools** such as TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc.
- Understanding of **basic networking concepts** (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Strong **problem-solving and troubleshooting skills**:

- Excellent **communication and interpersonal skills**:

- Ability to **prioritize tasks** and work efficiently under pressure

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certifications such as **CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate**, or equivalent
- Familiarity with **IT security best practices**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹21,000.00 per month
