**Roles and Responsibilities**

Create and implement best practice manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve business performance AOP Goal Setting, Budgeting and Forecasting : Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets and which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market Managing operating plans on daily/monthly/annual basis and adhere AOP with cost optimization Plan, organize, direct day to day operations optimaly Maximum capicity unitlization, maintain quality standards and minimize unnecessary costs to improvize productivity & minimising waste through development of a continuous improvement culture Productivity & Performance Analysis of resources & products Cost effective & energy efficient Corrective & Preventive maintenance activity to ensure plant is kept safe and compliant Supply Chain Management : Coordinate, Organize and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the goods /materials. Cost effective & energy efficient Corrective & Preventive maintenance activity to ensure plant is kept safe and compliant Planning, scheduling & prioritise maintenance activities i.e. preventative / corrective and predictive maintenance and ensure that they are completed on time and within budget. Ensuring that all equipments, machinery, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards. They must schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to prevent equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime. Inventory Control & Management to minimize inventory cost Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and technology Implement a customer focused operational culture delivering world class customer service levels Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure that all in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised and modified to meet the needs of Regulatory bodies Ensure adherence of EHS policies at site level Ensure corrective actions are undertaken to address non conformities found & verify closure of non conformities with Internal / External Bodies Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives /acitvities, infrastructure, IT enablement etc New Product Development : Designing, development & coordination with cross functional teams for viability of product while maintaining Quality, Safety, Environmental Standards and achieving Cost targets & businees objectives Market research and evaluating similar products and their functions. Determine and execute improved technologies used by suppliers, competitors, and customers. Report on Manufacturing activities on a regular basis to the Management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of the relevant Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) Project Management Status, CAPEX & OPEX Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance. Ensure products /facility certification by appropriate authorities Build and mantain a trusting relationship with team members & stake holders Departmental objectives, progress and performance : Responsible for developing the appropriate organisational structure, resource plans, performance matrics and culture to support the business objectives and customer deliverables Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements- Role:_Plant / Factory Head
