UX B2 for Pune : A consultant will be responsible for executing Design strategy on client projects as defined by Architect. Conceptualize and propose Ui designs and analyze design and test effectiveness of interface from user perspective would be the main focus. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: UI Design The incumbent will design creative and compelling user interfaces for both web and application architectures that enhance solution adoption by making it simple to use. S/He will work closely with the solutions engineering teams to rapidly investigate and analyze requirements and offer highly usable interface solutions. S/He must have a passion for user-centric design and be a strong communicator. S/he should be able to create and visualize intuitive interface design for solutions proposed support translation of interface design to interactive interfaces while generating relevant documentation to support Usability tests and also development efforts. This includes design documentation and specifications. Ability to identify alternative design strategies assess design viability and rapidly transform business requirements into a user interface design. Customer Management: The role holder will be responsible to interface with internal and external client during the requirement understanding process. S/he will continue to interface with the client for reporting progress and providing other clarifications during development and testing. S/he will participate in join reviews with the customer; while ensuring that customer complaints are identified recorded and dealt with in an appropriate manner. Support UX activities:Support Usability testing/evaluation methodologies. Collaborating on user experience planning with a lead experience architect. Contribute to client relationships as per project need Leadership activities: Guide UI designers to define design strategy. Review the visual design and value add on ascetics. Research on design trends and mentor designers. JOB REQUIREMENTS:? Should have 3-5+ years? experience in IT industry and have Interface designing experience with web and desktop software related development.? Should have worked for designing for web applications which leverage emergent technologies Design Tools like : Mastery of Photoshop Illustrator and Fireworks.? Conceptual understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process. ? Result oriented and independent worker with out of the box and independent thinking capability.? Have capability to think beyond the current parameters of a proposed new product/application with a perceptive curiosity of how to make it better? Assess requirements and translate the same into workable interfaces. ? Design and model user interfaces prototypes.? Create and visualize intuitive interface design for solutions proposed ? Support translation of interface design to interactive interfaces.? Generate relevant documentation like style guides Standards as required.? Must be detail oriented and have the ability to deliver on time and work under deadline pressure
