Job Title: Food Technologist - Product Development Team Department: Research and Development (R&D) Job Summary: As a Food Technologist on the Product Development team, you will play a key role in creating, improving, and optimizing food products. This involves combining expertise in food science, creativity, and consumer insights to develop innovative and high-quality products that meet regulatory requirements, market trends, and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Product Development: Develop and innovate new food products from concept to commercialization. Reformulate existing products to enhance quality, taste, texture, and nutritional value. Ingredient Research & Testing: Source, evaluate, and test new raw materials and ingredients. Ensure ingredient compatibility with the product concept and processing techniques. Prototyping & Sampling: Create product prototypes and conduct sensory evaluations to refine formulations. Organize internal and external product tasting sessions for feedback. Process Optimization: Work with the production team to scale up formulations for production. Optimize production processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure products comply with food safety regulations, labeling laws, and quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, testing, and processes. Market Analysis: Stay up to date on food trends, competitor products, and market innovations. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, quality assurance, and production teams to deliver successful products. Problem Solving: Investigate and troubleshoot product development and production challenges. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in product development or a similar role in the food industry. Strong understanding of food chemistry, processing techniques, and sensory evaluation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance practices. Proficiency in using formulation software and laboratory equipment. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
