- Responsible for wiring, internal routine testing, mechanical assembly completion & finishing of the Primary GIS panels.
- Responsible for handling of customer inspection & FAT for local / export market.
- Knowledge & understanding on various wiring schematic drawings related to Primary GIS products (8DAB10, NX Plus C, 8DJHSTE etc)
- Understanding of client requirement / technical specification. Knowledge of relay programming in Siemens/ABB/Schneider/GE numerical relays. Hands on experience in Digsi 4/5/ Reydisp Evolution. Knowledge in Goose signaling/ICD files prepearations/Final relay file preparations. Knowledge in relevant protection functions (BB diff/Trafo Diff/Line diff).
- Maintaining process level documentation and recordkeeping.
- Daily/Monthly testing planning and control as per turnover target.
- Organize, monitor, and control the testing / finishing area regarding assigning employees, working procedures, material, processes, and tools, so safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Provide support to technicians by coordinating answers to technical and quality questions. Coordinate actions with support functions to resolve issues.
- Monitor key performance indicators for testing / finishing stage. If necessary, initiate measures to resolve or avoid problems.
- Conduct meetings with respective team members. Discuss the status of production operations. Inform team about safety & quality issues.
- Participate Production meetings, Quality Circle meetings, 5S audits and Safety Meetings.
- Plan, assign and assist in the training and development of employees. Track progress by updating the skills matrix and development plans.
- Organize, lead, and execute improvement projects and activities.
- Monitor employee performance.
- Handling of internal & external ISO audit. (Documentation, processes, employee trainings)

- This role is based in Goa. BE in Electrical Engineering desired.
- Typically, up to 2-3 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successfully demonstrating Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented in the job profile.
- Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)
- Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and procedures.
- Lean Manufacturing - Basic knowledge of lean principles and techniques for optimizing processes and eliminating waste.
- Leadership
- Knowledge of leadership techniques for motivating and engaging a team to achieve a vision.
- Basic/Advance knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point etc.
- Critical thinking, reasoning and problem solving are an essential part of this position.
- Enjoy learning new things and build knowledge base in new area.
