Sales Supervisor

As a Sales Supervisor, you will oversee and guide the sales operations at an assigned Growth and Logistics Centre (GLC). This role involves managing a team of Sales Executives, driving revenue growth, and implementing strategic sales initiatives to achieve organizational goals. You will play a key role in developing market expansion strategies, fostering relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that the team delivers exceptional results in rural markets.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the assigned GLC.
- Analyze market trends, identify potential customers, and plan targeted sales initiatives.
- Coordinate and oversee BTL activities, such as kiosk setups, umbrella campaigns, and leaf-letting drives, to increase customer engagement.
2. Team Management & Leadership: - Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
- Set clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for team members and provide regular feedback.
- Resolve escalated customer queries and challenges in collaboration with your team.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share insights, and plan future activities.
3. Growth & Market Development:
- Identify new opportunities for market expansion within the GLC’s rural catchment area.
- Conduct market research to understand the needs of dairy farmers, animal husbandry practices, and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute local promotional activities and campaigns.
4. Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, dairy farm owners, retailers, and community stakeholders.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for farmers to educate them on the benefits of Shunya’s products and services.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance metrics for the GLC and team, analyzing trends and providing insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure accurate reporting of sales data, team performance, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, agriculture, or related fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales (preferably in agritech, dairy, or rural markets), with at least 1-2 years of team management experience.
- Strong understanding of rural markets, agricultural practices, and the dairy industry.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Tech-savvy (comfortable using mobile apps and CRM tools).
- Knowledge of local languages and cultures is an advantage.
- A two-wheeler is mandatory for field operations.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:
