**Job Title**: Store Supervisor**Job Summary**:
The Store Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the store operates efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising staff, overseeing sales performance, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service. The role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise Store Staff**: Lead and motivate a team of retail associates to ensure high performance and a positive work environment.
- **Customer Service**: Ensure that customers are greeted, assisted, and provided with a positive shopping experience. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
- **Sales and Target Achievement**: Monitor store sales and assist in achieving sales targets. Promote store products and upsell where appropriate.
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee stock levels, order merchandise, and ensure products are displayed and stocked correctly. Conduct regular stock audits.
- **Staff Scheduling**: Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring proper staffing levels for peak times and holidays.
- **Training and Development**: Train new employees and provide ongoing development to current staff to improve product knowledge and customer service skills.
- **Store Presentation**: Maintain the cleanliness and visual appeal of the store, ensuring that displays are neat and products are well-organized.
- **Cash Handling**: Ensure proper cash handling, including overseeing registers and deposits, as well as performing cash reconciliations.
- **Loss Prevention**: Help implement store security measures to prevent theft and loss, while ensuring store compliance with policies and procedures.
- **Reporting**: Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory levels, and employee performance to upper management.
- **Compliance**: Ensure adherence to store policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in retail or customer service, with prior experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and challenging situations in a professional manner.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications in retail management is a plus).
