**Salary**: ₹30,000 - ₹40,000 per month

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Supervise and coordinate** daily production activities in the furniture manufacturing unit.
- Ensure **efficient workflow** by delegating tasks and monitoring production progress.
- Oversee the operation of **woodworking machinery** (e.g., cutting, sanding, boring, and finishing machines).
- Read and interpret **technical drawings and specifications** to ensure accurate production.
- Maintain **quality control standards**, inspecting finished products for defects and making necessary adjustments.
- **Train, guide, and evaluate** workers to improve productivity and craftsmanship.
- Ensure **safety protocols** are strictly followed to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Manage **inventory and raw materials**, coordinating with the procurement team to avoid production delays.
- Collaborate with the **design and sales teams** to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Maintain **production reports** and suggest improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.

**Key Requirements:Education & Experience**:

- **Diploma / Bachelor's degree** in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- **1-2 years** of experience in **furniture manufacturing or woodworking production**.
- Hands-on experience in **operating and supervising woodworking machines**.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong **technical knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes**.
- Ability to read **technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD designs**.
- Excellent **team management and leadership** skills.
- Experience in **quality control and production planning**.
- Knowledge of **wood types, finishes, and raw materials**.
- Strong **problem-solving skills** and ability to troubleshoot production issues.
- Familiarity with **safety standards and best practices** in furniture manufacturing.
- Basic **computer skills** for reporting and inventory management.

**Work Conditions & Physical Requirements**:

- Work in a **manufacturing/industrial setting** with exposure to woodworking machinery and tools.
- Ability to **stand for long periods** and handle **physical tasks** when required.
- Use of **protective gear** such as gloves, masks, and safety glasses.
