**Position Overview**:
As a Procurement Executive specializing in tablet, capsule, and powder formulation, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and procuring raw materials necessary for manufacturing pharmaceutical products. Additionally, you will be responsible for administrative tasks and logistics management to ensure smooth operations within the manufacturing unit.
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Procurement Management**: Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain raw materials required for tablet, capsule, and powder formulation at competitive prices. o Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new sources for quality materials. o Ensure timely procurement of materials to meet production schedules while minimizing inventory holding costs.
2. **Vendor Management**: Conduct vendor assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices. o Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing. o Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the organization.
3. **Inventory Control**: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and consumables to prevent shortages and overstock situations. o Implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize carrying costs. o Coordinate with production and planning teams to forecast material requirements and plan procurement activities accordingly.
4. **Administrative Support**: Provide administrative assistance to various departments within the manufacturing unit, including but not limited to finance, human resources, and operations. o Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information. o Assist in the preparation of reports and other documentation as required.
5. **Logistics Management**: Coordinate the transportation and delivery of raw materials and finished products, ensuring timely and cost-effective logistics solutions. o Liaise with carriers, and transport agencies to facilitate transportation activities and compliance with regulatory requirements. Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
6. **Compliance and Risk Management**: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing procurement, logistics, and administrative practices. o Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions, supplier performance issues, and regulatory non-compliance.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the tablet/capsule/powder formulation. - Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
