**Job Title**: Tele-Underwriter / Medical Underwriter (Tele & Video)**Location**: Remote / Onsite (as per business requirements)**Working Hours**: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Rotational Offs)**Working Days**: 6 Days a Week**Job Overview**

The Tele-Underwriter is responsible for conducting medical evaluations via telephonic or video calls to assess policyholders' health conditions. The role involves documenting medical histories, identifying risk factors, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines.

**Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Evaluation & Risk Assessment**
- Conduct **Tele-MER (Medical Examination Report) calls** within **30 minutes** of case allocation.
- Ask **structured medical questions** as per underwriting guidelines.
- Assess **pre-existing diseases (PEDs) and document them**.

**Documentation & Compliance**
- Accurately **document medical history** and responses in a structured digital format.
- Ensure **100% accuracy** in transcripts, avoiding data manipulation.
- Maintain compliance with **insurance underwriting standards**.

**Key Qualifications & Skills**

**Educational Background**: MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT, or relevant medical qualifications.

**Experience**: Minimum **1.5 years** in **tele-underwriting, medical screening, or patient consultation**.

**Skills**:

- Strong **medical knowledge and risk assessment** skills.
- Excellent **verbal and written communication**.
- Ability to handle **customer interactions professionally and empathetically**.

**Languages Required**
- **Must be fluent in**: English & Hindi.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fresher, Internship, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance

Pay: ₹257,512.92 - ₹1,057,494.43 per year
