Job Description

1) Managing the upkeep of all manufacturing assets, managing maintenance budget and resources and assisting in the design and installation of new systems. 2) Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works 3) Adhere to daily and weekly checks to ensure smooth operation of site 4) Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out as per given schedule. 5) Audit and ensure compliance of the engineering data systems. 6) Schedule both internal and external works maximizing planned down time and reducing unplanned downtime. 7) Manage the team to ensure machine availability, reactively managing dysfunctional machinery with the Shift management. 8) Conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department. 9) Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements. 10) Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitors People Management. 11) Focus on repairs and maintenance. 12) Anticipate needs and practice planning and preparing. 13) Ensure on time completion of given project 14) Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. 15) Developing detailed project plans and timelines. 16) Allocating resources efficiently. 17) Managing budgets and tracking expenses. 18) Coordinating with team members and stakeholders.
