Key skills required for this role include:
ServiceNow Developer with 8+ years of IT experience, 6+years in ServiceNow. Must have ITOM/ Discovery/CMDB, ITAM/HAM/SAM Experience. Should have very good hands experience with Development.
- Solid understanding of the quantitative techniques used in developing and validating models including credit risk related regulatory (IRB, IFRS9, CCAR, PD, EAD, LGD) models for wholesale portfolios.
- Strong analytical skills with experience developing or validating credit risk related regulatory (IRB, IFRS9, CCAR, PD, EAD, LGD) models for wholesale portfolios.
- Proven expertise/in depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas of model risk management: CCAR, IFRS9, Basel, PD, EAD, LGD, etc.
- Hands-on experience in the use of statistical packages such as SAS, R, Python. Expert user of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- An ability to identify and analyze appropriate external data sources including macro-economic variables for model development or validation along with good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to have/valued skills:

- Relevant experience in a modeler/validator role in the financial services industry.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

This role is based in Pune.

**Purpose of the role**

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

**Accountabilities**
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
