**Responsibilities **of a Corporate Chef:
- Menu Development: Creating and developing menus that align with the company's brand and culinary vision. This includes conceptualizing new dishes, incorporating trends, and ensuring variety and balance.
- Culinary Standards and Guidelines: Establishing and maintaining culinary standards, recipes, and guidelines across multiple locations or outlets. Ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of food.
- Training and Development: Providing training and mentorship to chefs and kitchen staff to ensure they meet the company's culinary standards. Conducting workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions.
- Quality Control and Food Safety: Overseeing food production processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standards for ingredients and preparation techniques.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to source quality ingredients, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong relationships. Evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Cost Management: Monitoring and controlling food costs, including ingredient pricing, portion sizes, and waste reduction. Developing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining quality.
- Menu Costing and Pricing: Analyzing ingredient costs, portion sizes, and market trends to determine appropriate menu pricing that aligns with target profit margins and customer expectations.
- Research and Development: Staying updated on culinary trends, new ingredients, techniques, and innovations in the food industry. Experimenting with new recipes and concepts to keep the company's offerings fresh and exciting.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Working closely with other departments such as marketing, operations, and purchasing to align culinary strategies with overall business objectives.
**Qualifications**
- Culinary Education and Experience: A culinary degree or a degree in similar field from a reputable culinary school.
- Extensive experience in a professional kitchen environment, including a strong background in various culinary techniques and cuisines, is essential.
- Experience in a well established Food and Beverage Chain is preffered
- Food Safety and Quality Assurance: In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, health codes, and industry best practices to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food quality.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
