**Position Overview**:
The **Secondary School Coordinator** is an academic leader who will oversee and manage the secondary school curriculum and operations. The role demands an expert in pedagogy, a skilled mentor, and an effective communicator who can balance academic rigor with student well-being. You will drive teacher accountability, student success, and parental collaboration, ensuring our secondary school stands out as a beacon of academic excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Academic Leadership**:

- Ensure the curriculum aligns with national and international standards, particularly focusing on preparation for board exams and competitive tests.
- Review lesson plans to guarantee high-quality teaching and adherence to school guidelines.
- Conduct regular classroom observations to ensure dynamic and impactful instruction.
- Maintain and update the **academic calendar** for Grades 8-10, incorporating assessments, parent-teacher meetings, and school events.

**Teacher Mentorship and Accountability**:

- Lead regular teacher meetings to discuss challenges, successes, and improvement strategies.
- Step in as a **substitute teacher** for key classes when required to maintain high standards of instruction.
- Foster a culture of accountability by setting clear goals and evaluating teacher performance.

**Student Development**:

- Oversee academic tracking for students and implement intervention programs for those who need extra support.
- Serve as a mentor for students, guiding them in academic and career choices while addressing their concerns effectively.
- Work closely with students preparing for board exams and competitive tests, offering strategies for success.

**Parental Engagement**:

- Maintain open and proactive communication with parents regarding their child’s academic progress and overall development.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings to foster collaboration and mutual understanding.
- Address parental concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring satisfaction and trust.

**Event and Activity Coordination**:

- Plan and oversee academic and co-curricular events for secondary school, ensuring high participation and quality.
- Coordinate with teachers and staff for the seamless execution of programs that promote holistic development.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure timely correction of assignments, projects, and assessments by the teachers.
- Monitor student performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements in teaching and curriculum.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Collaborate with school management to implement policies and meet strategic goals.
- Generate detailed reports on academic performance, teacher activities, and program effectiveness.
- Actively participate in school-wide decision-making processes as part of the leadership team.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role in secondary education.
- Strong expertise in preparing students for board exams and guiding them in competitive test preparation.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to build trust and motivate teachers, students, and parents.
- Proficiency in using digital tools and technology to streamline academic planning and management.
- A decisive and solution-oriented mindset, capable of handling complex challenges with a sense of urgency.

**Salary Range**: ₹25,000 - ₹40,000 per month
