Production Supervisor

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Production Management: Manage and coordinate the operations of the TMT Rolling Mill, including scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to meet production targets and deadlines.

2. Quality Control: Ensure that the rolling mill processes comply with quality standards and specifications, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as needed.

3. Team Supervision: Provide guidance and supervision to the production team, including operators and technicians, to ensure smooth operations, adherence to safety protocols, and high-quality output.

4. Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance personnel to develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for rolling mill equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.

5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

6. Training and Development: Provide training and support to new and existing employees, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

7. Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety awareness and ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, conducting regular safety audits and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks.

8. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, production metrics, and maintenance logs, and prepare regular reports on production performance and key metrics.

9. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as quality assurance, logistics, and procurement, to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication for efficient operations.

10. Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in rolling mill operations, and actively seek opportunities for professional development.

**Requirements**:
1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the steel manufacturing industry, specifically in TMT rolling mill operations.

2. In-depth knowledge of rolling mill processes, equipment, and best practices.

3. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing production team.

4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment.

5. Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate expectations to the production team.

7. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

8. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet production targets and deadlines.

9. Basic computer proficiency, including knowledge of productivity software and data analysis tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
