Job Title Supervisor - Instrumentation Department Location Bhilai Steel Plant Bhilai Chhattisgarh Department Instrumentation Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and experienced Supervisor for the Instrumentation Department at Bhilai Steel Plant The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance calibration and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure smooth plant operations and minimal downtime Key Responsibilities Supervise daily instrumentation activities including installation maintenance and calibration of instruments and control systems Monitor the performance and reliability of plant instrumentation and automation equipment Coordinate with electrical and production teams to resolve equipment issues promptly Ensure compliance with safety standards and preventive maintenance schedules Maintain documentation of calibration records maintenance logs and test reports Provide technical support during breakdowns and assist in root cause analysis Guide and train junior technicians and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures Liaise with vendors for procurement and servicing of instrumentation equipment Qualification Diploma in Electrical Engineering OR B Tech B E in Electrical Electronics Engineering Experience Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance preferably in a steel plant or heavy industrial environment Skills Required Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems PLCs sensors transmitters and control systems Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation diagrams Good leadership and team management skills Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices Employment Type Full-Time Permanent Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 20 000 00 - 25 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
