Warehouse Supervisor

Supervision & Staff Management:

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse workers, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and productivity.

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel and monitor their work performance.

• Provide training and development to new staff and ongoing training for existing employees.

• Ensure proper work scheduling and efficient workforce utilization.

Inventory Control:

• Oversee the inventory management system, ensuring accurate stock levels.

• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions.

• Track material movement and ensure timely replenishment of stock.

• Maintain proper documentation for all incoming and outgoing materials.

Material Handling & Storage:

• Ensure all materials and products are safely stored in compliance with safety standards.

• Supervise the proper unloading, receiving, and inspection of incoming shipments.

• Monitor the storage conditions of materials to prevent damage or spoilage.

Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce strict adherence to health and safety standards, ensuring the warehouse is a safe working environment.

• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures.

• Ensure that all materials are handled and stored in compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Quality Control:

• Inspect the quality of materials and products before storage and shipping.

• Coordinate with quality control and other departments to ensure that damaged or defective materials are properly handled.

Logistics Coordination:

• Coordinate with other departments (like production, procurement, and logistics) for smooth material flow.

• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of products to clients or other departments.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of stock movements, material usage, and discrepancies.

• Prepare regular reports on warehouse activities, inventory levels, and performance metrics.

• Manage documentation related to purchase orders, goods receipt notes, and dispatch documents.

Equipment & Facility Management:

• Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.

• Ensure that the warehouse facility is kept clean, organized, and in good working condition.
