**Customer Service**:

- Address customer inquiries, take orders, and ensure prompt service.
- Handle guest complaints and escalate issues to the Restaurant Manager if needed.
- **Team Supervision**:

- Supervise and guide the service team, including stewards and wait staff, to ensure smooth operations.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance during service hours.
- Train and mentor new team members on service standards and restaurant protocols.
- **Order Management**:

- Communicate effectively with the kitchen staff regarding special requests or modifications.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables.
- Double-check orders before serving to maintain accuracy.
- **Table Management**:

- Oversee table setups to ensure cleanliness and proper arrangement before and during service.
- Manage table turnover efficiently to maximize seating capacity.
- **Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between the kitchen, bar, and service team to ensure seamless service.
- Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to manage large bookings or special events.
- **Stock and Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels of service equipment and supplies like cutlery, napkins, and menu cards.
- Ensure the availability of necessary items and report shortages to the manager.
- **Compliance and Standards**:

- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, hygiene standards, and restaurant policies.
- Uphold and enforce the restaurant’s quality standards in food presentation and service.
- **Reporting**:

- Maintain a log of daily operations, customer feedback, and incidents.
- Report service issues or customer concerns to the Restaurant Manager.
