
Housekeeping and Maintenance

Key Responsibilities:
Ø Develop and implement housekeeping standards, policies, and procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across facilities.
Ø Supervise housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Ø Conduct regular inspections of premises to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement.
Ø Coordinate cleaning activities, including room cleaning, waste disposal, laundry services, and special cleaning projects.
Ø Develop preventive maintenance schedules and plans for building systems, equipment, and facilities.
Ø Coordinate maintenance activities, such as routine inspections, repairs, replacements, and upgrades, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Ø Manage maintenance contractors and service providers, ensuring timely and quality service delivery.
Ø Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
Ø Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe and secure environment for occupants, employees, and visitors.
Ø Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, codes, and regulations.
Ø Assist in developing and managing budgets for housekeeping and maintenance activities, including labor, supplies, and equipment.
Ø Monitor expenses, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Ø Procure supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for housekeeping and maintenance operations, ensuring quality and value for money.
Ø Collaborate with other divisions, such as facilities management, operations, and administration, to coordinate housekeeping and maintenance activities.
Ø Communicate effectively with staff, occupants, and stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and solicit feedback.
Ø Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies as necessary to support housekeeping and maintenance initiatives.
