**Role Summary**:
The Deputy Housekeeper is responsible for assisting the Executive Housekeeper in managing and supervising the housekeeping operations of the hotel. They ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction while effectively managing the housekeeping team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Operational Management**:

- Oversee daily housekeeping operations, including room cleaning, public areas, and laundry services.
- Ensure timely and efficient turnaround of guest rooms and public spaces.
- Monitor and maintain quality control to ensure adherence to hotel standards.
- ** Team Leadership**:

- Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising housekeeping staff.
- Schedule and assign daily tasks to the housekeeping team.
- Conduct regular team briefings to communicate objectives and performance expectations.
- ** Inventory Supplies**:

- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Coordinate with suppliers for replenishment while adhering to budget guidelines.
- Maintain proper inventory records and minimize wastage.
- ** Guest Satisfaction**:

- Address guest feedback and complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure rooms and public areas meet guest expectations.
- ** Health Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Conduct training for staff on safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning equipment.
- ** Administrative Duties**:

- Assist in preparing housekeeping reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance issues and coordinate with the engineering team for resolution.
- Monitor departmental expenses and implement cost-saving initiatives.

**Qualifications Skills**:

- ** Education**: Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum 3-5 years in a supervisory role within housekeeping, preferably in a hotel environment.
- ** Skills**:

- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in housekeeping management software is an advantage.
