Job Summary
We are hiring enthusiastic and dedicated individuals for our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team working on a prestigious government project (TWAD). As a Tele Caller, you will be responsible for handling outbound and inbound calls, providing customer support, and ensuring smooth communication with clients. We have opportunities for both entry-level Freshers and experienced Operator-Admin-Tele Callers who will oversee teams while actively participating in calling activities. The roles require fluency in Tamil and English. Proficiency in TWAD’s call centre software is nice to have.
Join us in contributing to essential government initiatives from our on-site location in Ezhilagam, Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
Call Centre Operators (Freshers):
- Handle outbound and inbound calls, resolving queries per TWAD project guidelines.
- Maintain accurate call records in TWAD’s call centre software.
- Meet daily/weekly call volume and quality targets.
- Collaborate with the team and adhere to government project protocols.
Operator-Admins (Additional Responsibilities):
- Lead and train a team, providing performance feedback.
- Monitor calls for quality, troubleshoot issues, and coach team members.
- Participate in calling activities to meet targets.
- Generate performance reports and escalate issues to management.
- Assist in onboarding and enforcing project rules.
Qualifications and Skills
Common for Both Roles:
- Graduate degree (any discipline).
- Fluency in Tamil and basic English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in TWAD’s call centre software platform.
- Basic computer knowledge and call handling skills.
For Call Centre Operators (Freshers):
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to shift work.
For Operator-Admins (Min 1 year of Admin/Manager role):
- Minimum 1 year of experience in managing call centre operations.
- Skills in performance monitoring, basic troubleshooting, reporting, and team coordination.
- Proven leadership and ability to achieve targets.
Compensation and Benefits
- Call Centre Operators: INR 15,000/month (inclusive of ESI, PF, and all benefits).
- Operator-Admins: INR 18,000/month (inclusive of ESI, PF, and all benefits).
- Night shift allowance provided for 10 PM-6 AM shifts.
- Minimum 5% salary increment upon successful completion of each year.
- Standard benefits including ESI, PF (as per company policy).
