**QUALIFICATION**:
- Any graduate preferred
- Post-graduation will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of MS-Office preferred
**EXPERIENCE**:
- 1 - 2 years
- Hospital experience preferred
**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Filing and Documentation**:
- To oversee daily filing of documents and ensuring no document is left pending for filing
- To oversee collection and filing of diagnostics and lab reports on a daily basis
- Maintaining of data as per hospital requirements
**Lab and Diagnostics**:
- To coordinate with Asst. Medical Administrator for sending patients outside the hospital for an investigation
- Overseeing, timely and well documented procedure for sending patients for lab tests
**Grievance Handling & Resolution**:
- Listen to the grievances of the patients/relatives and take a note of all the complaints
- Resolve patients/relatives medical care or billing related complaints procedures by interacting with the concerned consultants, residents or staff members
- To make analysis of feedback received from patients / relatives in the Nursing Home
- Provide appropriate feedback to the grievances of the patients/relatives
- Based on the nature of the complaint/grievance, refer the unresolved grievances or complaints to the designated departments for further investigation or to the superiors as the case may be
**Office Permission and Billing related issues**:
- To confirm for Office Permission/Clearance for all surgeries and as per hospital rules
- To provide provisional bills to patients as and when required.
**General Activities**:
- Conducting regular ward rounds and reporting the same to the Asst. Medical Administrator
- To visit newly admitted patients and introduce themselves. Also explain them the hospital rules & regulations along with Patient’s Rights & Responsibilities
- To ensure that the discharge procedure is not delayed for any reason related to billing, documentation, returns of medicine, etc.
- To be a part of training and participate in ISO activities
- Co-ordinate with Hygiene, Maintenance, Accounts, Casualty, General Ward, Labor Room, ICU, ICCU, Quality, MRD, Purchase depts. as per requirement.
- Helping the sister in-charge for nursing documentation on request
- Quality Indicators and feedback form analysis
- Photo copies of file papers to be provided to patients on request as per procedure
- To inform the Asst. Medical Administrator about any problems related to consultants, residents and other associated staff members for further action
- To perform any other tasks assigned by the Asst. Medical Administrator of the Nursing Home
- Any other work/responsibility assigned by the HOD/Management in the course of business/work whether within the same unit/dept or any other unit/dept from time to time
