Quality Control Executive

**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Quality Assurance**
- Define and implement quality standards in line with buyer requirements.
- Approve pre-production samples (PPS) to ensure alignment with agreed specifications.
- Validate raw materials and components for compliance with set standards.

**2. Pre-Shipment Inspections (PSI)**
- Perform detailed inspections of initial goods before production to verify conformity with buyer-approved samples.
- Inspect packaging, labeling, and other logístical requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.

**3. During Production (DUPRO) Inspections**
- Regularly inspect production processes to detect and resolve quality issues early.
- Ensure that production aligns with the approved pre-production samples (PPS).
- Identify and report potential risks or delays to the quality and production teams.

**4. Final (Pre-Shipment) Inspections**
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of finished goods to verify compliance with buyer specifications.
- Check for defects, consistency, and alignment with approved samples.
- Ensure accurate packaging, labeling, and documentation before shipment.

**5. Testing and Compliance**
- Coordinate testing for safety and compliance certifications such as REACH, CE, ASTM, or other region-specific standards.
- Ensure adherence to global quality standards and buyer-specific requirements.

**6. Vendor and Buyer Communication**
- Collaborate with suppliers to address quality-related concerns and suggest improvements.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports for internal records and buyer submissions.
- Assist in resolving quality disputes between buyers and vendors.

**Educational Background**
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or a related field.

**Professional Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of quality control/inspection experience in a buying house.
- Proven experience in inspecting diverse product categories (e.g., têxtiles, home goods, apparel, furniture, etc.).

**Technical Skills**
- Strong understanding of quality control tools, processes, and industry standards.
- Knowledge of global compliance standards (e.g., REACH, ASTM, CE).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality inspection software/tools.

**Soft Skills**
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with suppliers and buyers effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Team player with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**
- Number of issues detected and resolved before shipment.
- Accuracy of inspection reports and documentation.
- Timeliness of inspections without compromising quality standards.
- Vendor feedback and quality improvement outcomes.

**Additional Requirements**
- Willingness to travel frequently to factories and production units.
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production periods.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
