**Responsibilities -**
- Inspecting and verifying that all fabricated sheet metal parts meet specified dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards by thoroughly examining materials, cuts, bends, welds, finishes, and assemblies throughout the production process, using measuring tools and quality control procedures to identify and report any defects, ensuring products are ready for delivery to customers while maintaining production efficiency.
- Inspecting raw materials: Checking incoming sheet metal for defects like scratches, dents, or incorrect gauge thickness.
- Verifying cutting accuracy: Measuring cut parts against blueprints to ensure precise dimensions and tolerances.
- Checking bending quality: Inspecting bends for proper angles and radii, ensuring no distortion or wrinkles.
- Examining welds: Assessing weld quality for proper penetration, bead appearance, and adherence to welding specifications.
- Measuring finished assemblies: Using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify overall part dimensions and tolerances.
- Surface finish inspection: Evaluating surface quality for scratches, burrs, or imperfections.
- Documenting inspection findings: Recording all inspection data, including non-conformance reports, on appropriate forms.
- Communicating quality issues: Reporting any defects or deviations to production personnel for corrective action.
- Collaborating with production teams: Working closely with fabricators to identify and address quality issues proactively.
- Maintaining quality standards: Staying updated on quality control procedures and industry standards.

**Required skills and knowledge -**
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Skillful use of measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies and statistical analysis
- Ability to identify and report defects accurately
- Good attention to detail and visual acuity
- Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
