- Statutory Reporting - Prepare accurate and timely Statutory Accounts in accordance with the Charity SORP, IRFS and relevant legislation including managing the year end audit process completely.
- Ensure all Tax returns and filings for all entities meeting regulatory obligations.
- Management Reporting: Responsible for the preparation and analysis of all monthly management reports, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, variance analysis, identifying trends and providing insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Board Reporting - Prepare Board Financial Reports highlighting key financial performance and providing clear and concise explanations of the financial position of the organization to the Board.
- Forecasting & Planning; Responsible for managing the Foundations yearly Forecasting Process, working closely with all stakeholders to establish realistic financial targets. Monitor and report on budget performance throughout the year, providing proactive recommendations for cost optimization and resource allocation.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Identify opportunities and automate manual financial processes, streamline reporting procedures, leveraging technology & optimizing use of financial systems and tools to enhance efficiency & accuracy.
- Team Management - Manage a team of 4, providing leadership, guidance and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and support staff in their professional growth.
