**Overview**
We seek those who will unabashedly and relentlessly join us to close urgent healthcare gaps with medical technology. To those ends, **Equalize Health is seeking an energetic and mission-driven Financial Controller **as we bring high-quality medical technologies to low-resource environments around the world. Reporting to the COO/CFO, this role will manage the organization’s finances globally across its 3 geographic locations, US, India, and Kenya.
**Responsibilities**
Equalize Health plans to rapidly expand its portfolio through in-house development, technology acquisitions, and partnerships that promise to address key global health issues. You will be instrumental in executing this strategy by:
- Ensure business processes, administration, and financial management, including ownership of the month and year-end close.
- Multi-entity consolidations.
- Manage AP and AR.
- Maintain accounting system (Quickbooks).
- Participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts.
- Support the fundraising team by preparing financial reports for funders.
- Assist management to make financial decisions.
- Maintain an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
- Key stakeholder in the implementation of an ERP system.
- Participate in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.
You will also have the opportunity to travel to our target markets or another studio at least every 2 years to become familiar with our work and/or strengthen relationships with colleagues in other geographies.
**Qualifications**
- At least 5 years of experience, preferably more than 7
- Experience with international organizations
- Experience with physical products and COGS
- Experience with Quickbooks is preferred
- Strong background in Accounting
- A proven expert in Excel for budgeting, modeling, and reporting
