**Embrace Excellence**:
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this newly created role aims to establish a strong Corporate Finance function in a high-risk region, ensuring that the company operates with integrity and in full compliance with internal & external regulatory and fiscal requirements. The Financial Controller India will be responsible for the development and governance of the regional financial reporting and processing requirements, as well as business support services.

A key focus will be to collaborate with the various other local functions to instil correct ways of working in line with global best practices & to be the eyes and ears of Edrington on the ground ensuring the highest standards of compliance. The role reports into the Chief Operating Officer with a matrix reporting line to the Director of Finance and Operations MEAI. The role will collaborate closely with Regional and Global Finance teams.

**Make an Impact**:
**Business controlling and reporting**

A key role responsible for ensuring excellent delivery of Business Support Services, covering Payroll, Accounts Payables, Credit Card and Travel & Expense Management, Treasury.

Other responsibilities include:

- GST and Corporation Tax calculations,
- delivering the monthly closing of books, including the appropriate checks and controls,
- forecasting overheads and the corporate financial reporting pack,
- providing training on policies and procedures and testing for any weaknesses,
- co-ordinating the year end audit with external auditors, as well as any internal audits that may be required.

**Relationships**

This role will be responsible for
- Managing the Finance Assistant role,
- Monitoring the stakeholder deliverables and SLAs,
- Co-ordinate with Senior Commercial Analyst for reporting requirements,
- Act as point of contact for Edrington Finance and Audit teams,
- Support external auditors with financial audit.
