**Position**:Sous Chef (Multicuisine)** for a Luxury Food Service organisation in Andheri, Mumbai **Qualifications Required**: Hotel management degree from reputed Indian or international culinary schools only. Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a Supervisory position in kitchen of hotel/restaurant specialising in Asian, continental, Mexican, French, Italian, Indian cuisine. **International work experience is preferred.** **Job Responsibility**: Responsible for production at the kitchen and ensuring products manufacture as per the standards, menu design, and overall staff management and training. **Key accountabilities are**: - Plan, implement and manage daily kitchen operations. - Supervise and coordinate all food preparation and presentation. - Monitor stocks and make appropriate orders within budget - Prepare goods on the organisation’s menu by strictly following recipes and SOPS. - Ensure that all food preparation is in accordance with regulatory and health guidelines. - Identify staffing needs and help train personnel - Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues, known safety hazards, or unsafe practices and procedures to the supervisor immediately. - Plan the team’s weekly roster and look closely at scheduling work. - Guide and motivate the team to work more efficiently - Document and maintain records of daily production, wastage, dispatch and inventory - Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings. - **Should be willing to travel extensively** **Type of organisation: A food service management company that provides luxurious and customised food service to Bollywood and other celebrities.** Type of engagement: Full time, permanent. **Job Types**: Full-time, Regular / Permanent **Salary**: ₹55,000.00 per month Schedule: - Day shift - Morning shift - Rotational shift Application Question(s): - Do you have Asian, continental, Mexican, French, Italian, Indian kitchen experience> - Will you be comfortable to travel outstation regularly for work? **Experience**: - supervisory kitchen: 5 years (preferred)
