Sous Chef

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Mumbai. The Sous Chef will be responsible for preparing and decorating dishes, managing kitchen staff, planning menus, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compliance with sanitary regulations. The Sous Chef will also assist in training new employees, supervising kitchen operations, and ordering supplies.

- Work with the executive chef to produce diversified menus in accordance with the kitchen policy and vision.
- Responsible for smooth kitchen operations of catering.
- Ensure consistency and standardization of recipes.
- Consistently maintain standards of quality, cost, presentation, and flavor of foods.
- Spearheading and controlling activities related to purchase, store, food, cost, portion, budget, kitchen organization and kitchen equipment schedule.
- Come up with new dishes which appeal to the clients, whenever required
- Establish the working schedule and organize the work in the kitchen so that everything works like a “well-oiled machinery
- Produce high quality dishes that follow up the established menu and level up to location’s standards, as well as to clients’ requirements
- Plan the food design in order to create a perfect match between the dish’s aspect and its taste.
- Create tasting menus for clients interested in contracting the food for different events

**Salary**: ₹500,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
