We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, assisting with menu planning, ensuring quality standards, and managing kitchen staff. This position requires a hands-on leader with good communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate food preparation, cooking, and plating processes for all meals.
- Ensure inventory and ordering of food supplies are done efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Implement and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Purpose of the Role

Prerequisites

Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in a professional kitchen in a café/ restaurant format. Strong knowledge of European cooking techniques and contemporary café trends. Ability to design and execute a cohesive café menu. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. A passion for innovation and continuous learning in the culinary arts.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Lead the development of the café menu, focusing on high-quality savoury dishes.

Streamline kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and consistency.

Collaborate with the Head Chef & Pastry Team to create a balanced menu.

Train & mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team enviro
- Assist in menu creation, special promotions, and seasonal dishes.
- Help maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Step in as the Executive Chef when needed, ensuring consistency and quality across shifts.
- Monitor kitchen staff performance and provide constructive feedback to encourage skill development.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
