
Payroll Administrator

1. Payroll Processing:
Oversee and ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll for all employees (salaried, hourly, and contract staff).
Manage bi-weekly/monthly payroll cycles and process adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and overtime.
Coordinate with HR and department heads to ensure correct pay data, deductions, and time-off records.
2. Compliance and Regulations:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and labor laws.
Maintain updated knowledge of payroll-related laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, FMLA, IRS requirements).
Ensure proper tax filings and submissions for payroll taxes, including reporting on W-2s, 1099s, and other statutory forms.
3. Team Management:
Supervise and mentor the payroll team, providing guidance and support to resolve payroll-related issues.
Ensure payroll team is trained on new payroll processes, regulations, or system changes.
Conduct performance evaluations and ensure team productivity and accuracy.
4. Systems and Reporting:
Manage the payroll system to ensure smooth operation and data integrity.
Prepare and analyze payroll reports for senior management, including compensation trends, tax liabilities, and employee benefit deductions.
Oversee the reconciliation of payroll-related accounts, including deductions, taxes, and benefits.
5. Employee Inquiries and Issue Resolution:
Address employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, taxes, or deductions
