Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor

Job Description; The individual at work directs and coordinates all activities of the kitchen stewarding department like assigning duties to kitchen stewards, monitoring cleanliness of kitchen area and equipment and managing inventory of kitchen cleaning materials and chemicals, equipment’s ware, dishware, and kitchen supplies for smooth kitchen operations. Role and responsibilities. - Lead, coordinate, and manage the external HK & KST Vendor and their staff. - Monitor and maintain cleanliness of kitchen area and related equipment’s. - Monitor and maintain cleanliness of storage area, common area, toilets, and pantry, etc. - Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, kitchenware, and other equipment - Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. - Control, maintain and manage inventory and supplies of cleaning equipment’s, tools, chemicals to ensure a superior standard and offer professional, friendly and proactive service. - Check proper use of chemicals and washing equipment’s, train staff for efficient use of such equipment’s and chemicals. - Create and implement cleaning SOP’s and cleaning schedules. - Maintain records of Daily/Weekly/Monthly cleaning. - Prepare monthly reports on shortages, equipment and requisition replacements as required while following budget guidelines. Educational Qualification & Experience - Ideal and IHM graduate or a diploma in hotel management. - Min 8 - 10 yrs. of experience in a bulk kitchen facility (commissary/bakery) - Strong communication, interpersonal and team management skills - Should be physically fit as the job includes heavy lifting, working in standing position for long hours, and in hot and humid environment. - Ensure Back House areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards as per HACCP and cleaning schedules are followed **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹29,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Health insurance - Provident Fund Schedule: - Rotational shift Supplemental Pay: - Performance bonus **Experience**: - total work: 4 years (preferred) Work Location: In person Application Deadline: 19/05/2024
