**Job Title**: Dining Steward

**Job Summary**:
As a Dining Steward at Kalinga spices, you will be an integral part of our front-of-house team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. You will ensure a memorable dining experience by delivering top-notch customer service, maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area,

and assisting in various tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the restaurant.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Customer Service**:

- Welcome and greet guests warmly as they enter the restaurant.
- Seat guests and assist with menu selections.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen.
- Provide attentive and personalized service throughout the dining experience.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

2. **Table Maintenance**:

- Set up tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware before guests arrive.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently between guest sittings.
- Ensure tables are properly arranged and decorated in accordance with the restaurant's standards.

3. **Beverage Service**:

- Serve drinks, including alcoholic beverages, in a responsible and compliant manner (if applicable and within legal age restrictions).
- Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's wine and beverage offerings.

4. **Food Service Support**:

- Assist the waitstaff in delivering food orders to guests' tables.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and in line with presentation standards.
- Assist in refilling condiments, water glasses, and bread baskets.

5. **Cleaning and Sanitization**:

- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including floors, tables, chairs, and fixtures.
- Monitor and promptly address spills or messes to ensure guest safety and comfort.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards.

6. **Teamwork and Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with other dining staff to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders and timing.

7. **Upselling and Specials**:

- Promote daily specials and upsell additional menu items or beverages when appropriate.
- Provide recommendations and descriptions of menu items to enhance the guest experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong passion for customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings (training provided if necessary).
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food service.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
