Why this role is important to us:
The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Markets India COO (SSGM) which will be going through a complete transformation. Platform Support Operations is part of the SSGM-Globallink organization which will provide coverage for all regions, EMEA, APAC and North America during their specific time zone.
Position Responsibilities:
- Client facing position with strong emphasis on client service and problem resolution-
- Research, resolve and respond to incoming user inquiries from external and internal stakeholders with urgency- Diagnose and troubleshoot platform issues including account access, password resets, certificate issues and trade related events- Guide users through basic login issues and platform features- Monitor system alerts and escalate potential issues and delays to management- Timely escalation of unresolved or complex issues to Level 2 support- Support Application Programming Interface, (API) connections- Ability to manage multiple tasks / priorities- Strong communication skills - written and verbal- Ability to work under pressure, working to deadlines in a high volume environment- Continually evaluate processes and procedures and work with management to implement improvements
Knowledge/Experience/Skills Required:
- Customer focus- 3-5 years’ experience in finance sector with a focus on FX / FI platform support and/or operations- Ability to think critically and resolve complex problems- Strong excel skills - VLookups and Pivot Tables
