**About This Role**

The QA Engineer will be part of high performing Functional Test engineers focused on Feature testing, Regression Testing and all Test methodologies around Function testing.This role will report to the QA Lead and will be responsible for Actively adhering the process around Defect Management, Test Management, QA process, Rca Templates etc.

The role on a day to day basis would be extensively working on Writing Functional Test cases, Test case Review, Defect Management and contributing to Bug free Releases.

The role is expected to follow test strategy approaches that align to our processes and make sure the output quality from all testing meets the specified requirements. The role plays a critical importance in following the direction of leadership on all testing matters within the project, including the adoption and compliance with organisation-wide change standards, you’ll champion the support of improvement principles, and manage stakeholder relationships with the business, technology and third parties.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
- Experience of contributing to end-to-end testing capability, And taking accountability for such deliveries
- Knowledge of key testing methodologies and the ability to influence and eventually lead thought process on methodology and governance.
- Knowledge and deep understanding of Test standards and principles.
- Have good working Experience of Manually testing Rest API’s using Postman
- Should have working knowledge of Querying one or more Databases like Oracle, Mysql etc and possess knowledge to work on Linux Commands
- Support end-to-end test maintenance, including planning, risk, issue, dependency management, lessons learnt and governance
- Review all key collateral relating to delivery and make sure that its of sufficient quality and with no gaps or duplication, while also making sure that all recorded testing has delivered against agreed scope from a quality perspective.
- Look for Continuous improvement opportunities.
- Working knowledge of Docker would be a great added advantage
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Experience in analyzing failures, and tracing defects to their root cause.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A strong understanding of and enthusiasm for Agile
