Mdm Quality Tester

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our custom Master Data Management (MDM) solution.

In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly testing the MDM platform, validating it against user requirements, and reconciling data with existingsystems. Your primary focus will be on identifying and reporting any discrepancies or defects to ensure the delivered solution meets the highest quality standards and effectively supports our business needs. **Preferred Qualifications**:
**Experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, Reltio, IBM MDM).**

**Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.**

**Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.**

**Experience with Agile development methodologies.**

**Responsibilities**:
Test Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to cover all aspects of the MDM solution's functionality, performance, and security.

Utilize various testing methodologies, including functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Collaborate with the development team and business analysts to understand user requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with business needs.

Requirements Validation:
Thoroughly validate the implemented MDM solution against documented user requirements and functional specifications.

Identify and report any discrepancies between the system's behavior and expected functionality.

Data Reconciliation:
Design and execute data reconciliation processes to compare data in the new MDM system with data in existing systems.

Identify and analyze data discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.

Defect Management:
Accurately document and track defects found during testing,

providing detailed information for developers to reproduce and resolve issues

Monitor the progress of defect resolution and verify fixes.

Test Environment Management:
Assist in setting up and maintaining test environments, ensuring they accurately reflect the production environment.

Reporting & Communication:
Provide regular status reports on testing progress, defect

trends, and overall quality metrics.

Communicate effectively with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintain transparency throughout the testing process.

Qualifications:
Experience: 3+ years of experience

QA Expertise:
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Experience with various testing types (functional, integration, regression, performance, UAT).

Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking systems.

Data Management Knowledge:
Understanding of MDM concepts, principles, and best practices.

Familiarity with data quality, data governance, and data integration concepts.

Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify andanalyze data discrepancies and system defects.

Meticulous attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.

Communication: Excellent

communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with

technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education: Bachelor's degree in

Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. (Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
