**Reports to**: Medical Director / Chief of Medicine

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder
- Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests including colonoscopies, endoscopies, and biopsies
- Perform therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as polypectomy, variceal banding, dilation, etc.
- Develop and manage treatment plans for patients with chronic GI conditions (e.g., IBD, IBS, GERD, hepatitis)
- Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care physicians
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with regulations
- Educate patients on preventive care and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education
- Provide on-call coverage as needed

**Qualifications**:

- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology
- Valid and unrestricted medical license in the practicing state
- Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology
- Proficiency in performing GI procedures and interpreting diagnostic results
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based medicine

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with advanced endoscopic procedures (e.g., ERCP, EUS)
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Research experience or interest in academic teaching (if applicable)

**Work Environment & Schedule**:

- Hospital, outpatient clinic, or specialty medical center
- May involve evening, weekend, or on-call responsibilities

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
