JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: Gastrointestinal (GI) Surgeon

Qualification: MBBS, MS (General Surgery), MCh (Gastrointestinal Surgery)

Core Responsibilities:

Perform complex gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, and pancreatic surgeries

Manage emergency and elective GI surgical cases

Work in close collaboration with gastroenterologists, oncologists, and anesthesiologists

Ensure best practices in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery techniques

Oversee preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative patient care

Participate in surgical audits, continuous medical education (CME), and quality improvement programs

Experience: 5 to 15+ years (as per institutional requirements)
