Key Responsibilities: - Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases and conditions. - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, and sigmoidoscopy. - Interpret test results and imaging related to the digestive tract. - Provide consultation and follow-up care to inpatients and outpatients. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients. - Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and other specialists. - Educate patients about preventive care, dietary management, and lifestyle modifications. - Maintain accurate and complete medical records. - Participate in departmental meetings, case discussions, and CME activities. - Adhere to all hospital policies, medical ethics, and quality standards. Qualification & Experience: - Education: MD / DNB in General Medicine with DM / DNB in Gastroenterology. - Experience: 015 years post-DM/DNB experience (depending on position level). - License/Registration: Must have valid registration with the Medical Council of India (NMC / State Medical Council). Work Environment: - OPD and IPD consultations. - Endoscopy and procedure rooms. - Hospital-based or multispecialty clinic setup. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): - Patient satisfaction and treatment outcomes. - Volume of OPD/IPD consultations and procedures performed. - Quality and safety compliance. - Contribution to hospital reputation and growth.
