Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Gastroenterologist to join our medical team. The role

involves performing advanced surgical gastroenterology procedures, general surgeries, as well

as diagnos c and therapeu c endoscopic/colonoscopy procedures. The consultant will work

collabora vely with a mul disciplinary team to deliver superior pa ent care.

Key Responsibili es

• Perform surgical gastroenterology procedures including GI cancer surgeries, liver,

pancreas & biliary surgeries, and laparoscopic procedures

• Handle general surgery cases such as appendectomy, hernia repair, gall bladder

surgery, and trauma/emergency care

• Conduct diagnos c & therapeu c upper GI endoscopy procedures

• Perform diagnos c & therapeu c colonoscopy procedures

• Collaborate with other consultants, anesthesiologists, and ICU staff for

comprehensive pa ent care

• Ensure adherence to medical ethics, hospital protocols, and infec on control

prac ces

• Provide pa ent educa on, counseling, and maintain accurate medical

documenta on

• Contribute to building and expanding the Surgical Gastroenterology specialty within

the hospitalQualifica ons

• MCh / DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology from a recognized ins tute

• Valid registra on with Na onal Medical Council (NMC) / State Medical Council

Experience

• Minimum 23 years of post-qualifica on experience in surgical gastroenterology
