**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and maintaining the general ledger using Xero.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
- Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor bank transactions and perform regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and liaise with external accountants or auditors as needed.
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Identify discrepancies or irregularities in financial data and resolve them proactively.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (BCom or MCom).
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a bookkeeper, preferably with Xero expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and Xero accounting software.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Knowledge of relevant tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
