We are customer-focused, aiming to provide memorable culinary experiences with every product. **Role Overview**: We are seeking an Intern Pastry Chef who is dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate about baking. Key responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, managing inventory, and maintaining exceptional hygiene and organization. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic, creative kitchen environment, with the potential for advancement to a Commis Chef position. **Key Responsibilities**: - **Assist with foundational daily food preparation tasks**: This includes learning and supporting activities such as scaling ingredients, basic mixing techniques, preparing for baking, and initial sheeting or shaping of doughs, under the guidance of senior chefs. - **Maintain a clean and organized personal workstation**: Actively contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness, diligently learning and adhering to all hygiene and food safety standards. - **Support inventory management processes**: Assist with monitoring stock levels, learning to check for the freshness and quality of ingredients, and helping with proper storage. - **Provide dedicated support to senior chefs**: This includes diligent preparation of "mise en place" (ingredient prep), assisting with the assembly of pastries, and helping with the packaging of orders under supervision. - **Learn to accurately follow established recipes and methods**: Focus on understanding and executing instructions precisely to contribute to consistent, high-quality products under guidance. - **Develop time management skills**: Learn to work efficiently within a professional kitchen environment, striving to complete assigned tasks effectively and on schedule as part of the team. - **Actively seek opportunities to learn**: Ask questions and absorb knowledge about various pastry techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations from the team. **Requirements**: - Currently enrolled in or recently completed a culinary or hospitality course is preferred but not necessary - Basic pastry knowledge or a strong desire to learn and grow within the pastry arts. - Strong soft skills, including: - Discipline and time management - Attention to detail and organizational skills - High standards of personal and kitchen hygiene **Why Join Us?** Be part of a growing cloud kitchen where you can grow too and learn from an experienced chef, enhance your pastry skills, and contribute to an exciting brand.
