**Job Description: Commis Pastry Chef**

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist with daily food preparation, including but not limited to scaling, mixing, baking, sheeting and garnishing duties.
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation while adhering to hygiene and food safety standards.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring freshness and quality of ingredients.
- Support senior chefs with mise en place, assembling pastries, and packaging for orders.
- Follow established recipes and methods to produce consistent, high-quality products.
- Ensure strict adherence to time management practices, delivering on schedule.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen is preferred.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a culinary or hospitality course is preferred.
- Basic pastry knowledge or a strong desire to learn and grow within the pastry arts.
- Strong soft skills, including:

- Discipline and time management
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- High standards of personal and kitchen hygiene

Pay: ₹11,500.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
