You will be working as Buyer and will be part of Motion Business Area for IEC LV Motors Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement Team Lead and will be responsible for working with P2P knowledge, executing material purchase requests, according to required technical specification, price, delivery schedule and terms. Ensuring purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures under supervision.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Supporting supplier registration and qualification in SAP Ariba and understanding the customer requirement and floating RFQ’s to suppliers to receive quotes
- RFQ managing, supporting in negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renewing pricelists, terms and conditions and providing feedback for appropriate actions
- Adapting corporate contractual framework to the local business needs and recommending frame agreements to management, ensuring approved contractual terms in execution
- Tracking goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing as per available guidelines and overseeing supplier performance, and recommends solutions / resolves performance issues within the scope
- Initiating supply purchase orders in the system, confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring and tracking supplier performance to purchase order requirements
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price. Conducting all supply chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electrical & electronics/mechanical engineering
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement
- Skills in SAP is a must. Experience on SAP Ariba and Service Now would be an added advantage
- Good knowledge in supply chain, materials, purchasing and inventory management
- Highly motivated team-player with a collaborative, learning & solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
