**Role Description
**Job Purpose
Ø The Job entails the role of a Planning executive who will be working in the Dispatch Planning Team. The dispatch team is responsible for generation of fortnight-based dispatch plans for all the manufacturing units /OPC’s. The planning executive will be working with the team in dispatch planning cycle and will be handling SCP-D/JDA Fulfill/SWB tools for planning related activities.

**Key Performance Indicators
The dispatch planning executive will assist Managers in executing Planning cycle - which is run every month. The output of this cycle are dispatch plans.
The scope of the responsibilities is broadly classified in following categories
- Master Data Management
- Executive in dispatch planning role will be responsible for maintaining and updation of master data in SQL which is used for planning cycles.
- The executive will be required to interact with different stakeholders like generation /commercial team for lane related definitions, TL Linkage, etc,
- These data have to be validated and updated within given timelines before the planning cycle begins.
- The executive will also be responsible for new SKU and new site introduction in planning systems. For new SKU introduction it can existing SKU being introduced in new site and totally new SKU being introduced in system.
- Timely Preparation of reports in standardized format on specific days of the month & sharing it with concerned Team
- Conducting Trial Cycle (Annual Planning)
- Before the actual planning cycle starts the executive must run a trial cycle to validate the changes in the master data and new inputs that have been gone into the system. This is essential for smooth execution of planning cycle.
- The executive will have to identify the errors and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders for plugging the gap.
- Identifying and driving the improvement action plans for demand /safety stock shorting. The improvement plans can range from regular co-ordination with stakeholders, best practices/processes, etc.
- Regular monitoring of servicing workbench and ensuring it’s smooth functioning. This will also involve’ s root cause analysis and driving further improvements.
- Work on Executive development projects assigned in area of new initiative or systemic changes / data analysis for improving servicing parameters.
- Ensuring correct data is uploaded on time and validated before planning cycle starts- All master data gaps are identified and recitifed successfully before the planning cycle- Ensuring Demand and SS need to be maintained at x and y%**Scope of Work

- Coordinate with generation, Execution, OBL, TL operations, Plant admin, sales team, commercial & purchase product team to ensure timely servicing of stocks but no direct repartee**c) Geography Coverage (Country-wide/ State-wide / Area-wide)

**Qualifications
- Essential- Graduate in Science / commerce- Desired- Post Graduate diploma in materials management**Previous Experience
