**Role Description
**Job Purpose
Ø The Job entails the role of a Planning officer who will be working in the area of Costing. The Costing vertical of Central Planning is responsible for controlling cost by ensuring cost effective formulation is operational. Get the support from Plant Production, Technology Function, New-Products, PMDI, Planning - Generation, SCRC and RM Purchase team to meet the objective of cost effectiveness. The Planning officer will be working in area of cost saving & Standardization of new formulations.

- Product costing of new formulation which are under evaluation
- Coordination with various stakeholders for implementation of new formulation.
- Data analysis, to generate cost saving avenues
- RM and PM Breakdown for long term planning and annual planning
- Tracking the steps of new formulation implementation
- Release cost effective formulation in system for production
- Stroke management to ensure system hygiene
- Product costing of RM and PM
- Cost impact analysis of formulation used for production and cost effective formulation
- Keep the relevant APQS documents updated
- Present design-change requests on behalf of materials function
- Assist the costing Manager in quarterly-costing and annual-planning costing related activities
- Ensure system requirement to support transfers of samples across between Plants and Technology Function.
- Drive process improvement and initiatives
- Understand Execution and Generation team’s major role to ensure RFT and error free smooth operation
