Quality Coordinator

**COO APAC > Regional Manufacturing APAC > Nacelles & Convertors Chennai** The Customer Quality is part of the TS&Q (Technical Support and Quality) department at the Oragadam Nacelle & Hub Assembly Factory. At the factory both serial production of two different platforms and product development is conducted (production maturation of new technology). **Responsibilities** - Ensures that products meet the organization´s and customers' quality and product integrity requirements - Supports operations team by providing analysis and expertise throughout the inspection process - Identifies root causes of problems in the production process; recommends or implements corrective measures - Analyzes data to identify trends in product quality or defects with a goal of mitigating and preventing recurrence and future defects - Review systems and processes to develop continued improvements and efficiencies - Problem solving for non -conformities, follow up actions and KPI´s commitment **Qualifications** - We preferer a technical electromechanical background. It can be mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or production engineering - Have experience in non-conformance handling - Relevant experience within mechanical, hydraulics and-or weldments commodities - Experience with quality assurance & problem-solving tools i.e. (PFMEA review, Pareto, MSA, Root cause analysis DMAIC, 8D etc). - Six Sigma Green Belt or other quality-safety certifications is an added value - Knowledge on ISO 9001, VDA audits or other standards is an added value - Practical and professional experience with Quality systems - Software skills (preferred: SAP, Apriso, MS office, etc.. ) - Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in Business or Engineering field - Have experience in stakeholder management and have good communication and English knowledge **Competencies** - High degree of safety and quality awareness - Exposure to and or proficiency with APQP-PPAP, component, and process approval including problem-solving skills - Good communication skills, oral and written, good meeting facilitator with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders within an international, innovative & cross-functional environment - Motivated personality, independent learning & critical thinking skills - ability to identify and deliver actionable solutions to complex problems - Willingness to take accountability and coordinate to ensure progress on tasks - Have a good understanding of complex organizational setups, to efficiently communicate with your colleagues and relevant stakeholders across different cultures - Able to communicate with colleagues on all levels in a factory environment - Ability to comprehend complex problems and maintain a holistic approach to problem solving & fast learning; **What We Offer** Life at Vestas is many things - exciting, rewarding, and fun.
