Job Title: Project Coordinator – Water Treatment Industry

Location: Thirumudivakkam,Chennai

Department: Projects / Operations

Reports To: Project Manager / Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Coordinator (Female) to support our water treatment projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemical Engineering or related fields, with strong organizational and communication skills to handle project documentation, proposal preparation, and client coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day project activities for water and wastewater treatment projects.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution in coordination with project managers and engineers.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, project files, and ISO-compliant records.
  • Draft, edit, and manage project proposals, tenders, and techno-commercial submissions in coordination with sales and engineering teams.
  • Communicate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and deadlines, and escalate delays when required.
  • Support procurement activities by following up with vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Industrial Chemistry or related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the Water Treatment / EPC / Process Industry.
  • Experience in proposal preparation, documentation, and technical submissions is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of water/wastewater treatment processes and basic engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and project documentation tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
