**Position: Assistant Manager - Pre-Production & Inventory**
Experience: 5-7 Years, Pre-Production/ Inventory Management
Industry: Apparel Brand (Factory Based)
Factory Location: Vasai East, Mumbai
CTC: Upto 7 LPA
Working Days: 6 Days Week

**Responsibilities**
- An obsessive focus on process excellence in running fulfillment unit & production of custom-made garments across the multiple brands that are currently part of the TAPL portfolio and those that will be added over time
- Head the Pre-production activities, liaison with store, transportation & merchandisers to issue the required materials/fabrics for the execution of a PO in timely manner.
- Ability to drive PO issue timelines and balance resource management
- Ownership of inventory unit with a focus on metrics such as picking rate, Rate of return, backlog orders, spoilage, Inward rate, Bin utilization, and fulfillment rate
- Understanding performance metrics from the various dashboards and advising the VP Production/inventory on potential bottlenecks, curative action required and recommendations to ensure timely delivery of garments.
- Engagement with the Brand heads to determine future orders, present order status, capacity details, stock for Sales & events
- Management of an in-house inventory unit & production line for custom made apparel. Continually improving process and efficiency of the same.
- Streamlining the inward/outward process. Ensuring 5S & FIFO are followed for lean SCM.
- Conducting periodic inventory audit to ensure “Zero” Pillage. Minimize the usage of consumables and Ullage.
- Style allocation to units: Based on available capacity, product categories and manpower both for in-house and partner production units.
- Hands on experience in WMS/Inventory/Logistics software. Shiphero experience preferred.
- Understanding of courier services/transportation and logistics processes. Knowledge of clearance/customs processes and industry network would be an advantage.
- 3-7 years’ experience in Pre-production/inventory management - preferably in the apparel industry
- Strong Excel/Google studios experience
- Passionate about the Fashion & Apparel space and broader Consumer space
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to synthesize data into actionable optimization strategies for new and existing initiatives.
- Excellent Inventory management skills with strong emphasis on execution. Someone who can run a ruthless lean inventory unit.
- Self-starter with a drive to succeed in a quickly changing business environment.
- The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top tier 2/3 institution.

Job Location(Factory): Vasai East, Mumbai

**Salary**: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
