**External Job Description**:

- Role & Responsibility- Responsible for production and quality of products, including daily reports for production and payroll.
- Maintain and enforce safe working conditions, ensuring compliance with Environmental Health and Safety and OSHA regulations.
- Schedule and direct leads, utilities, and mold changers in the Molding Department.
- Work with production control to meet molding requirements.
- Monitor production, inventory, and minimize scrap in the department.
- Collaborate with the Molding Manager to improve the molding process.
- Maintain lean manufacturing practices in the department.
- Train all personnel in the department, ensuring proper training with the help of trainers and leads.
- Report and resolve departmental and personnel issues in accordance with company policy.
- Troubleshoot and resolve molding processes.
- Inspect and update all setup sheets.
- Ensure the department runs with mínimal downtime.
- Continuously look for ways to reduce costs in the department.
- Maintain department ISO procedures.
- Work with the Molding Manager to maintain the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program.
- Keep the Molding Department organized through 5S standards.
- Schedule and direct mold changers using quick mold change methodology.
- Continuously improve manufacturing operations through lean enterprise practices and 5S principles.
- Ensure manufacturing equipment operates efficiently by enforcing operating instructions and maintaining the PM system.
- Lead production activities, manage daily routines, inventory, and coordinate manufacturing excellence initiatives. Engage with key customers, estimate costs, prepare budgets, and make data-driven production decisions.
